Harvesting Traditions, Celebrating Togetherness..
Our academy celebrates Pongal, the traditional harvest festival of Tamil Nadu, with great enthusiasm and cultural pride. This event provides an excellent opportunity for students to connect with their roots and appreciate the rich agricultural heritage of our land. The celebration begins with vibrant decorations of sugarcane, kolams (rangoli), and colorful traditional attire worn by students and staff.

The essence of Pongal is captured through the live preparation of the traditional dish “Pongal” in an earthen pot, symbolizing gratitude to nature and farmers. Students perform folk dances like Karagattam and perform songs that reflect the joy of harvest and rural life. Additionally, educational skits and speeches are conducted to explain the cultural relevance of the festival to students from diverse backgrounds. This celebration fosters a sense of unity, cultural understanding, and appreciation for the simple yet profound traditions of our state. It reminds everyone of the importance of thanking nature and the hardworking farmers who are the backbone of our society.
